I couldn't have asked for better training partners for my first session in Zürich. In the left picture, Lukas Esslinger, 5-times CrossFit Games Athlete. In the middle, Jonne Koski, also 5-times CrossFit Games Athlete, with a 9th place finish in 2015 and the winner (in extraordinarily impressive fashion) of the European Regionals 2014 and 2015. To the right, his girlfriend Emilia Leppänen, fittest in Finland.
In teams of two: 100 cal row + 100 lateral burpees over the rower 100 cal row + 80 lateral burpees over the rower 100 cal row + 60 lateral burpees over the rower 100 cal row + 40 lateral burpees over the rower 100 cal row + 20 lateral burpees over the rower I had the privilege to have as my partner Lukas Esslinger, the man who won the marathon row at the 2018 CrossFit Games. I think we can all agree that you need a spine to complete that workout in the first place, but consider how badass you have to be to do it at the Games and WIN!
