Hosting a Weightlifting 101 Weekend Seminar is ideal for gym owners who wish to raise the general level of weightlifting proficiency among their coaches, athletes, and members. The gym is credited with one free spot, or the money equivalent to this, for every fourth sign-up with the minimum number of participants set at 15 (12+3) and the maximum at 20 (16+4).
There are a few very simple, but important requirements for hosting:
- It must be possible to drop weights from over head at all hours of the day.
- We must have access to at least one 20kg bar for each male participant and one 15kg bar for each female participant.
- Chalk must be made available for the participants.
- We don’t necessarily need the gym entirely to ourselves, but it’s important that we are not disturbed.
