Goal is to get healthy and happy along with getting stronger and faster by virtue of persistence and perseverance. I am excited to surpass myself and see where my efforts will take me. Posting a proper Dumbbell 101 classic to kick off my training log:
Courtyard Chronicles - Dumbbell session Did a quick and simple dumbbell session to cure the katzenjammer caused by Friday night’s drunken deviltry. Didn’t time it, but it took approximately 30 minutes.
40 – 30 – 20 – 10 Double DB devil’s muscle snatch Lateral burpees over the DB’s
I did the devil’s muscle snatches in sets of 5, the burpees in sets of 10, and kept breaks short throughout the workout. The flow was good, but the weight felt quite heavy after a while due to (I think!) an ineffective pull phase. I need a more powerful pull…
